Need help bringing down my C-bet %
I've noticed that a serious leak that I have is that I C-bet far too much. I feel like the responses that I get from the bet help me put together ranges for players, which is good. But sometimes it gets me into sticky situations where I have put in more money than I needed to, which is bad. So I'm looking for general advice and maybe some avenues to look at to teach myself while playing (such as things to pay attention to that are commonly passed over by newer players).
Here is an example:
Villain (BTN): $2.40 SB: $1.65 Hero (BB): $2.00 UTG: $1.05 CO: $2.22
Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with KdQs 2 folds, BTN raises to $0.04, SB calls $0.03, Hero raises to $0.14, BTN calls $0.10, 1 fold
Flop: ($0.32) Kh3sAs (2 players) Hero bets $0.22, BTN raises to $0.60, Hero calls $0.38
Turn: ($1.52) 6h (2 players) Hero checks, BTN bets $0.72, Hero calls $0.72
River: ($2.96) Qd (2 players) Hero checks, BTN checks
I've put a lot of thought into this hand but I actually think my play is profitable, though maybe not as profitable as it can possibly be. Posted this on reddit too, the only advice I got was x/c flop and raise more pre. Happy to discuss full thought process about this hand if anyone is interested.
Any help I can get is very much appreciated!
