My second 25/25 series UKIPT made day 2 did i play the following wrongly !
Chip average at this time 83k
Hero AKh
UTG: 100k
UTG+1:180K
MP: 150K (hero)
Preflop
Hero is MP with AKh
Blinds 1500/3000
UTG : raises to 6k
UTG+1 calls 6k
Hero raises to 18k, SB folds, BB folds, UTG and UTG+1 both call
Flop
(58,500+1,800 ante) As Kc 3c
UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 40k, UTG folds and UTG+1 calls.
Turn
(138,500) As Kc 3c 4d
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets 50k, UTG calls.
River
(218k) As Kc 3c 4d 5c, UTG+1 checks Hero sitting with 50k aware of the flush i bet 20k for value $1.29, UTG+1 asks how much do i have left another i had 30k 10BB),he shoves all in I'm not good enough to lay this down and call. UTG+1 had 8c6c.
Because elf the size of the pot i called should i have folded with my 30bb left ?
Cheers for all the assistance .

This should be in MTT.
I would bet smaller on the flop because stacksizes are a bit awkward now. As played I'm jamming turn.
On the river you should either jam or check but not bet 10%pot and fold to a raise :)
Thank you knoxox appreciated more practise needed.will get him the next time.
Having some MTT experience imo you need to make this larger preflop in a live tourney because players are generally just a lot more loose passive and you want to be getting value from all weaker players that will call with random junk and dominated hands. Make flop smaller, maybe 30-35k, as played turn is a jam. With turn bet, take the free river here. As mentioned, definitely dont bet 10% pot.
To summarise; larger preflop, smaller flop cbet but as played turn is a jam
Cheers psek1 again appreciated info its in my head now ready for the next time. the problem was i was still sure he had made the flush but i pushed in the 30bb i had left :( did not want him to turn over a bluff
