my 2 pair getting a lot of heat on the turn and river,
This is a hand i posted in my journal but not sure many people read those threads and I really want input on it so if the mods dont mind i'm going to post it here as well.
This hand was played in an extremely tilt induced state of mind. What do you think? I basically went with my gut instinct. I don't want to say it was completely called down due to tilt because i was pretty much running this guy over the entire time i played him (he was bleeding away his blinds to my min raises, folding his bbs, folding to 90% of my cbets), I was just steaming from a bad HUPLO session (which i won back my lost buyins)
BB: $19.25
SB (Hero): $14.35
Preflop:
Hero min raises to $0.20,
Villain raises to $0.60.
Hero calls (This was probably a mistake caused by tilt but im pretty loose in most of my hu games to begin with. Queen high can't be that bad.)
Flop: ($1.20)
10d-3c-As
Villain checks (thats odd. why would he check on this ace high board)
Hero bets $0.50. Villain calls (huh..thats funny...)
Turn: ($2.20)
Qh
Villain Checks
Hero bets $0.80
Villains 3bets to $3.80
Hero calls $3.80 (AQ? So AK is out? maybe I'm taking this blocker thing too serious, so i call you.)
River: ($9.80)
Jh
Villain pots it $9.80
Hero calls with his remaining stack ($9.45)
(Maybe im playing too much HUPLO but potting it seemed rather tricky)
Results:
Villain - 7c-7h
Hero - Queens and 3s
That was pretty much my thought process. I was basically insta-clicking on this one and really went with my gut feeling.
