Mtter used to mtts, trying to dip into cash, but slow start. 10-10 cold 4 hand 10 nl

I think with my mtt time clock I am just being a bit too aggro is all..but 10k hands in, I am down 2.33 bb's an hour at mainly stakes between 10 nl and 25 nl if those are 10 cent and 25 cent?

So not very good. Heres a random hand:

I prefer flatting a 3-bet with TT, small sample on villain but he seems quite tight. Your 4-bet size is too small, at the very least, 2.5x the 3-bet. As played, i would be folding this. Best case scenario is your slightly ahead of AKo. Give him a range of JJ+, AK+, you have 33% equity. you need to call $10 to win $12.4 so I would fold and wait for a better spot.

Weird spot. 4bet/fold is a bad option imo, if we're going to 4bet and then fold to a shove, we might aswell use a hand like AJo in our 4bet/fold range, TT doesn't fit that range very well imo. So I think we should just fold, 4bet/call or cold call. At these stakes we can just cold call imo, but folding is an option too since the SB seems nitty.

I am a MTT"r moving to ring as well. I understand being a bit too aggro at first. over 60 hands, seems not enough to figure out if the guy is a nit so i don't suggest folding pre.

I agree with Bod on this one which is to flat the 3bet. If he is a perceived nit in the game and he 3 bets, you need a tightened range held on your 4 bet range. I only see strength if he isn't in much of the pots over 60 hands and when he is in one, it's most likely he has a tight range to start and a very tight range for his 3 bet range. The TT isn't strong enough with Villians range to 4 bet him.

so the flat would be better in that spot.

Just fold pre. You don't wanna have a flatting range here unless the PFR is a weaker player and is likely to just flat as well or the 3bettor is not a nit or tight player. I would 4-bet QQ+ and AK here and some bluffs like AJo. As played you can't call I think

Yeh not a ton of room...but idk about folding pre...id have to see more stats to be convinced.

The problem with flatting 3-bets is that you will have to fold if PFR 4-bets. Also, best case scenario is a multi-way pot OOP with a hand that has poor postflop playability. Besides all of that, you don't have huge implied odds for set mining since the 3 bettor is not gonna have a very strong range a lot of the time if he is capable of 3-betting light, and definitely the PFR wont have it himself when he flats. So if you think about it, its just a marginal spot when you flat.

fold pf. you are oop with a capped range and have exactly what you look like you have. you are basically set mining.
