Definitely going for three streets versus a fish.
Would you bet small like 1/3-1/2 pot otr to keep villain's calling range as wide as possible or do you think it is sufficiently inelastic in general to ship it?
I don't think valuebetting the river is even particularly close. Keep in mind that villain would raise his better hands sometimes on the flop or on the turn. And there are more 1-pair hand combinations than two pair combinations because the board blocks more of those two pairs, so it is more likely that he has A4 than A5 for example. I would just go for a pretty normal sizing of 2/3-3/4 of the pot and expect to get called by any ace basically.
You also block A8/A6/88/66!
I would go for a small river bet of about 1/3 pot. Also, raise to 0.4 pre-flop.
We have 68% equity versus this range (AJ-A2, sets and straights). And I would expect a fish to call with any ace most of the time on the river.
Picture is very small but you got the point.
The pot is ~6$ and we only have ~7$ behind in effective stacks wouldn't it better to just shove otr?
Is he going to fold anything for 7$ that would call for say 4$-5$?
I always feel weird when I bet most of my stack on the river and leave so little behind for some reason.
Sizing probably depends a lot on villain. I'd go with my gut feeling when deciding a sizing.
Half pott is fine. Not even a fish calls a pottshove on the river with a pure ace.
So you need to find the best sizing he will call. I think3-3.50 is fine
