Mentally recovering from a downswing
Recently, I have been on the biggest downswing of my "career". For the most part, I was dealing fairly well with it. But recently, I've been reviewing my play, and I've noticed just how big a toll it has been taking on my game. Even though I consistently review my play, and each session, theoretically, I should be consistently improving. However, its come to the point where I've started to make calls and plays which, in retrospect, I would have never made before my downswing, and even though I make a conscious note of this, I keep talking myself into making these -EV plays which before would have been extremely easy for me to get away from. I have a feeling my downswing may actually be over, its just that I appear to be getting coolered a lot of time during a session, yet, when I look back at the session many of these "coolers" are an easy fold when I review them.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get back into my previous frame of mind and start winning again?
