Live 1-3
player with $200 limp EP
This old lady who I haven't played with in a year and who used to be a huge whale/calling station limps the button with $300
SB is old man who makes it $15, with a $170 stack imagine this to be a snug range, possibly very snug
Hero on BB w AKs covering
I kind of think there is merit in flatting to keep the bttn whale in hand. 3betting is certainly an option, but a sb old man raising range, seems like we are probably only slightly ahead if ahead at all, and likely have little to no fold equity. Thus, flatting seems attractive just to keep the two limping ranges in play. Obv sucks to play 3-4 way, but at least we are suited, and the alternative of 3betting doesn't seem that appealing.
If there was one more limper id say just go ahead with the reraise, but even if it goes 3-4 way, our implied odds are quite good. obv it does hurt not being able to bluff much post flop multiway. But just seems very attractive to play against two very wide ranges rather than reraising and playing against a tight range, or potentially a super nitty range.
Thoughts on flatting this pre? Am I missing something?
