Lower Suited Queens and Jacks

I've been opening up my game a lot lately and playing more hands aggressively, especially from the BTN (preflop). What are we doing with hands like J5s and Q7s from the CO and BTN preflop? Further, are these hands good candidates for polarized 3bets? I think I might be missing some value on these kinds of combos so I'm interested in what other's thoughts are.

You can open Q3s+ and J5s+ from the button with mid stakes rake.

They aren't great to 3B but that said in a high rake environment you can't go wrong throwing in a bit of 3B with everything as a more proactive way to defend the BB but you're going to get into very tricky post flop spots with these hands especially OOP so I would advice you to work on your play in 3bp first.

These hands will be +ev in weak games and closer to 0 ev in tough games, especially J5s. As for 3betting, I don't recommended 3betting these due to blockers and suggest 3betting Ax hands instead.

I'd just like to point out that them being 0EV doesn't mean that opening them does not have its perks. When you don't open them anyone with an hud will notice and will defend tighter so you'll lose value with your top hands. There's a few more things there but the jist is that overall strategy is important and vacuum thinking can be dangerous.
100% agree with the point on blockers, Ax are nice specially on high rake environments as will generate more folds pre
