Live poker) 3b pot, made unusual decision
Blind 2/3 buyins $100-$500
Mp3 - weirdo. Someone open 5bb on pre, one caller, he made 10bb 3bet at CO that he made min. 3bet on preflop. Some hands that his lines doesnt make sense. Cant even guess he is tight or loose. I played with him 2 hrs. In my eye, he is just weird.
Me (MP1) have $1100 with AJo
MP3 has $1500
Both quite deep
Utg limped, i (mp1) made $20, mp2 called, mp3 made 3bet to $55. I dont like his betting size because so small. I want to move 4bet to him but just made mind to flat call cuz he is weird ( i feel now i should follow my first instinct) mp 2 called utg folded
Pot $173, flop A 7 4r, i checked, mp2 checked, mp3 bet $60 i called, mp2 fold
Pot $293, turn Ts and there is spade flush draw. I checked he bet $150, at that time, his range looks like AQ, AK, AA, some draw hands which is JQss.
As a frequency, i will do 65% fold 30% call on the turn. But at that time, i want to raise him because we are quite deep stack and calling with AQ, AK, draw hands is tough decision. i could have 77, 44, AT than his range. So i check/raise $500 to him and i have $480 hehind. (to be honest i shouldnt do this kind of action cuz he looks fish) if he calls on turn, i will give up. Check/fold on river
He tanked for 1 min and he jammed. I instantly fold.
I dont make this kind of move usually. But i did it. I think best action was check fold on turn. I shouldnt do check raise to him because he looked fish
Im curious how u guys think my check raise on the turn?
