Live 5/5, what's your preflop range from the blinds look like?
I've always had trouble trying to quantify preflop strategy in live poker, (bigger raise sizes but relatively insignificant given the number of people usually in the pot) especially from the blinds. Sometimes I get the sense that I might be defending too wide, but some of the biggest pots I got in was from situations like this. How does one go about to find the balance of over-realizing equity vs weak players and not getting too out of line with our preflop ranges? (Espcially in SB since SB and BB are the same size which is different from traditional range analysis)

I think this will vary greatly given the position of the openers (later = defend wider range, earlier = defend less hands especially easily dominated ones), the number of players calling (the more players in the pot, the more we want a hand that plays well multiway).
Another factor that you may want to consider is the size of the preflop raise to you. In general the larger the size the less you should be defending since your pot odds get progressively worse as the size of the opening raise increases.
If you mean a situation where it's limped to you in the blinds then your opening range also depends on the position of the limpers.
