I've haven't tried this often - several times and every time Vs just instafolded. I tried to do this vs thinking Vs who I thought may level themselves into thinking it's a bluff. I've tried 1.2pot, 1.3pot and even 2pot. Never got called. I see several issues:

1) In order for V to notice an overbet he needs to keep track of the pot. Not all Vs do.

2) By how much do we need to overbet? If we overbet by just 10% V may think that we just misclicked and meant to bet pot.

3) V needs to be a thinking V capable of leveling himself

4) Do we actually need to balance these value overbets with bluffs? Well, traditionally we only need to balance only vs good Vs who notice the imbalance :) Balancing an overbet range on the river is a costly proposition (that means we had to spend money on bluffing earlier streets AND overbet river - who even does this LIVE with any regularity lol?).

So how much would you guys recommend overbetting by when doing so for value? Have you had any success overbetting river for value?
