Live $2/$5: Was This a Good Checkraise?
$1000 eff. Fish limps MP2, V opens CO to $15, I call in BB with J♥ T♠ , limper calls.
Flop: Q♦ J♣ 8♠ Pot $47 Checks to CO who bets $20, I checkraise to $60 with middle pair + gutter.
V is a tighter, middle-aged guy.
Was this a good CR and why/why not?

Not too thrilled as CO should be quite tight in this spot.
You are x/r into an already strong range so its kinda meh imo.
I guess the plan is to barrel down allot and try to make him lay down AQ+ which is usually hard to do live but if you think hes capable then perhaps its good.
Depends on your image as well.
I'm not crazy about the check raise, I don't think there is any Qx combo that he is going to lay down in this spot, and most Jx 10x 9x combos drill this flop as well. I think flatting and leading with any J or 10 turn, check raising the 9 and check and re assessing all other turns is a better way to attack this one.
