Live $2-5 NL, TP + Royal Draw
Posting this hand for a friend- here's the info given to me:
Villain- Ultra aggro kid, rarely gives up, and will do whatever it takes to win the pot. Stack $2,500
Hero: Stack $900- Young 30's grinder/reg, fully capable/dangerous and aware
Preflop Action: Villain UTG+2 opens to $20, Hero on button 3bet to $75 with AKdd, Villain flats.
Flop: Ax Qd 10d, Villain Checks, Hero $100, Villain Call
Turn: 3x, Villain checks, Hero $175, Villain jams all-in, Hero?
Will post results later. My initial thought was that maybe we need to check back this flop? We'd have to balance that by checking many other bottom of our range hands though, correct? Villain is hyper aggro though so c-betting is likely to induce action from him.
About the decision on the turn as played- It doesn't look like we are getting the right price if we think we are beat now. If my math is correct we are getting about 2.25-1 to call it off. Can we find a fold button here against this type of player barring any other reads? I think I would need to know if he was capable of c/r all-in with a weaker hand than ours here.
