Live $1-2 - Two hands with QQ
Very good table with a bunch of players drinking and a lot of chips. One drunk fish on my right and two good players that are aggressive and also drinking two and three to my right.
V1 is a good/aggressive player a little loose pre-flop. Solid after the flop. 25-30 years old.~ $600 stack
V2 is similar profile. More aggressive than V1 and prone to "making moves" to win pots Also 25-30 years old. ~ $600 stack.
Hero 33 years old but looks younger, $500 stack. Tight-aggressive image. Both V's probably think I'm capable of making moves against them.
Hand #1
V1 opens in MP to $6 - He had been making a lot of these small pot sweetener bets. Has shown down as strong as AQ with this size.
V2 flats the $6 next to act.
Folds to Hero on button with QQ I make it $16. This 3-bet was a little small but V1 had folded to 3-bets of his small opens before. This was my first time 3-betting at this table.
V1 folds
V2 cuts out a raise to $50
Hero?
I won't say what I did yet but I will say that this line doesn't make much sense to me. I have a very hard time believing he is flatting KK/AA in this spot in MP. There wasn't a lot of 3-betting going on at this table so I had no reason to think he was trapping.
Hand #2
Same V1 as before, this was only a few hands later.
V1 limps UTG+1
Hero in MP with QQ I make it $12
Folds back to V he flats
Flop: A62 rainbow
V1 Checks
Hero Checks (he was watching me very closely and his body language felt like he was ok with this flop)
Turn: Qs brings two spades on board
V1 bets $16 into $25
Hero: ?
I elected to raise to $40. It felt like he was strong and I wanted to build a pot since I felt like he was calling often.
V1 calls
(pot ~ $105)
River: Kx
V1 checks
Hero: ?
I bet $65. His call on the turn told me was strong so I'm thinking he has at least A10 here, maybe A2 or A6 for two pair since we was pretty loose pre-flop. I also thought that he thought he could outplay me after the flop so I think he's continuing wide on this turn with my small raise sizing. After the hand I was thinking I should be betting slightly bigger on this river, something like $85, as I think he's calling quite often with a lot of Aces (essentially a bluff catcher) and any two pair or worse sets.
