Live $1-2 Hand- AK in a straddle pot

Preface: Sorry if this is lengthy, all this info WILL help to explain my action. For anyone that isn't familiar with the typical casino $1-2 game, the average preflop raise is around $12. Stacks usually average around $200. Online players please recognize the different dynamic at a live, casino cash game.

Table: My table was VERY loose. A few very bad fish who never folded preflop. 1 guy literally limped into every single pot and subsequently called every raise. On top of that he was terrible after the flop. Firing out poorly executed bluffs/semi bluffs. He was deep in this game stuck at least $600 and had a stack of about $100 at this time. The other was very loose preflop but a little better after the flop. He was sitting on about $600 stack after hitting some big hands and sucking out a few also. He was better at folding then Fish #1. Behind me is a one good TAG player with a stack of over $1k (this table was insane). And finally, the ultimate villain in this hand seems LAG and good. Not spewy but playing alot of hands and applying pressure/exiting when appropriate. He had about $500.

All of this being said, this table was VERY difficult to find folds preflop. Any open (even up to $20 was seeing at least 2 callers). Most pots were 3-4 way with over $50 in there preflop.

Action: Villain straddles to $4 which he had done before (and I did actually see him raise from the straddle once before as well). The two fish to my right call the $4. I peel Ac Kd and have $325 stack. I decide to just call. 3-4 more calls behind me and villain pops it to $15 total from the straddle.

Fish#1- Calls $15

Fish #2- Calls $15

Me- Repop to $115 total

Folds to villain and he calls after some time. Fish #1 calls all in for less (~100 total). Fish #2 folds.

Pot is now ~ $360 (probably a bit more).

FLOP: Qd 4d 2d

Villain bets $111 almost instantly. I ship all in for $211. He calls slowly and hates it. Turn 5c, River 2c. He turns over AQ off no diamond and wins the over $700 pot.

Thoughts/Analysis: So what happened here? I flatted the $4 straddle planning on either: a. Playing it as a drawing hand to possibly hit a well disguised monster cheaply OR b. potentially throwing in a 3-bet depending on the action.

The action IMO was perfect to throw in a 3-bet and try to take down a nice pot preflop (over $60 out there when it was back to me). I was certain that villain did not have a monster, if he had me beat it was with something like 99. I actually put him on AQ, AJ, KQsuited, 99. Something in that range. Based on my reads he did not have AK or JJ+. The fish could both have anything and I was hoping to get Fish#1 all in preflop heads up. I knew Fish #2 would fold to the $100 extra.

So my plan was spoiled when the villain throws in the extra $100. The situation and his body language suggested it was a loose/spew call (I was right, AQoff is a terrible call there IMO). So my read didnt change after he called the $100 more.

Now he bets $111 into me on this all diamond board? Looked to me like AQ, maybe 99-JJ with a diamond hoping to get me off AK with a diamond? Either way I wasn't very concerned at this point because I had my read on him, and I now had at least 9 outs (assuming he doesnt hold the Ad) and I felt the pot was so big I had to gamble here.

Pot of at least $360, he bets $111 offering over 4-1. With a live flush draw I'm always calling at 4-1 on the flop. With $100 behind I saw no other option then to stick the rest in. Turns out I had 12 outs (3 Kings) and bricked out and took the withered drive home that night. Sigh..

I think I've touched on just about everything here. I appreciate any feedback on how I played this hand, and how I might have played it differently. In my eyes it's sort of a cooler. I'm happy with my decisions but would like some feedback.

Thanks
