KK..wat to do when ace flops...

Hey Guys

I need your guys opinion about this hand that I recently played on .05/.10$ Zoom...Obviously I know limping (in any position) utg+1 with any hand is a mistake, however against my better judgement I decided to limp KK. MP1 decides to squeeze to .50c (5x) and gets two callers..obviously at this point I was fist pumping hoping to get it in, so I decided to squeeze to $3 (thinking over it now, I feel like my 3bet sizing was way too big, only getting called by better and usually getting everything worse to fold..)..original raiser MP1 decides to cold call my $3, which obviously is very suspicious (at the time I was thinking maybe QQ? possibly AK, but since I'm holding two kings probably not, ppl at these stakes also tend to over play n value AK) Flop comes Ace high with two clubs...obviously at this point I am hating the flop...I don't want to check (I don't want to look weak) so I decide to c bet just under half the pot and villain instantly shoves over me forcing me to fold...how would you guys play this hand? I'm sure that my 3bet sizing was way too big making me commit to the pot even more...

I edited your post, the raw hand history just causes headaches ... please try to use a handconverter next time. :)

As far as your hand is concerned, you should think about some things in your strategic as well as your mental arsenal.

First of all, you said yourself that limping KK was bad ... the rest of the hand suddenly should get completely uninteresting for you, as your goal should not to be to learn how to compensate mistakes. :)

Second, the sentence "I don't want to look weak" stuck with me. Seriously think about that ... as a serious poker player you should not even think about that stuff - not to mention write it out and let it manifest it!!! You only care about EV, not about how you might look to others ... is "looking weak" -EV for you - because you think you´ll get bluffed too often? Then write it ... ;)

As played, I seriously think you have a trivially easy fold on the flop, even x/f is not atrocious, you´re turning your hand into a bluff by betting - against what better hands?! You have showdown value against TT-QQ, so you could just check - and when Villain bets you can fold. You even block the 2nd nut flush draw, giving you bd-flush-draw.
