KK, very weird situation

BB: $4
UTG: $4.57
HJ: $4.08
CO: $7.24 (Hero)
BN: $4.06
SB: $10.45
UTG is a pretty standard TAG reg. BN is a tight player. playing 17/12 over 1.7k hands.
Preflop ($0.06) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt K K
UTG folds, HJ raises to $0.14, Hero raises to $0.39, BN calls $0.39, SB folds, BB folds, HJ calls $0.25
standard value raise here, 3bet is a little smaller than 3x. BN flats, which I would really only expect him to do with the top of his value range. AKs+, JJ+, possible TT but most likely not.
Flop ($1.23) J 7 T (3 Players)
HJ checks, Hero bets $0.69, BN calls $0.69, HJ folds
Turn ($2.61) A (2 Players)
Hero bets $1.02, Hero folds
Final Pot
BN wins $1.96 , BN wins $4.42
i think this is an obvious fold on turn, but what are your thoughts on my play here?

I would 3bet a litle bit bigger preflop 0.42 would be nice,as played I think a fold is pretty good in this spot.

The 3bet size could be bigger but not by much so it is ok. The flop is a bit drawy and you're holding an overpair, so bet bigger, at least 2/3 - I would go for 4/5 ~1usd. Also, there are a lot of turn cards you wouldn't like.
The turn looks wierd in the hand converter: "Hero bets $1.02, Hero folds". I'm guessing villain shoved, right? If so, I agree it is a fold.

yeah hand converter messed it up. he did shove.

why should i 3bet more? i want him to play OOP against me. especially when i have a big value hand.

i don't know if betting bigger on the flop is correct. i would bet half pot here with my range. it's a good size for bluffing and value. plus there's a nit acting behind us who flatted pre. not a great spot to ship the nickels in IMO.

You should 3bet more to extract more money. Standard 3bet size is usually 3x and you have the second best hand possible in this spot, so extract. Who calls .39 will call .42.
You bet bigget to extract value from hands that are drawing or that you are ahead, like AJs (if he calls with this hand), QQ and some AK he can't just get away with. The only hands you put him on are sets, and the amount of combos he has that are much smaller than the other calling hands I mentioned, and if you add some KQ (which I think is very likely), you have a lot more combos you can extract value from.

Now I saw Aleksandra comment and the amount you have behin and it might ba a call against some villains. Vs this one I would still fold with the info I got

You already have $2.61 (or more, not sure because final pots looks bigger, hand is a little unreadable )in the pot and only $1.02 to call , villain might have had draw to the diamonds, i would call given odds and board is perfect to bluff on it leans me more towards a call

Your 3bet is fine, but it becomes an easy fold. What hands can call your 3 bet, 10+, AQs+. You said it yourself he is a tight player. The flop is a horrific, but we must cbet. JJ and 1010 got there. Now AK may peel one with this board to spike a Q.Remember he has postion. Now , turn comes A, another scare card. Now just about all of the standard 3bet calling range has now hit. There is too much you could be up against. So check fold, is the best line with the A turn. Just too much out there

I'm still a little confused on the turn action. You bet 1.02 into 2.61, he shove (for how much?), and you folded? If this is the case I really don't like your turn bet. The only hand I expect him to have that we beat now is QQ, which is folding to a bet, but probably letting us get to showdown if we check.
