KK river decision
Villain was a 45/34 fish over 400 hands, bit stationy as you would expect.
I went for 3/4 cbet on flop and turn to get as much value as poss from worse hands and draws. However, I think my river bet was bad as thinking about it a lot of the hands he calls me with on the turn have me beat especially when 9 drops on the river. A9 got there, plus other random 9x hands he called pre with. He could also have 2 pair hands as he is really wide pre. Don't think he has many overpairs here that I beat. So I think I should have checked river, and maybe check called to a smallish bet and check folded to a larger one?
Obviously when he jams I am priced in to call.
What do you think?
Thanks

You can block bet river, not expecting to get bluff raised often enough to call .
Rvr is not great i like a small bet/fold
ok nice one cheers
i dont think its that bad of fold, since 99% of the time value, therefore mostly 9X since i expect his sets to be raise OTF or OTT
so u could find exploitive fold there and save 18BB which is a lot
anyway i like shove more than checkcall, since he can have still like some 88 TT JJ 44 55 to herocall with but wont shove himself if u check ,
u block some FDs
if u check he might even tho find some bluffshoves with 44 55 TJ... but u need to provide his River bet %
Yeah guess you are right 18bbs is a lot and see what you mean re shove being better here, at least he will fold out better if I do it that way.
Yeah, one more vote for a very small river bet and fold to a raise
cool cheers!
