Played this hand versus another unknown player (3 hands so he must be new...)
My question is did I play this right. especially the turn reraise is pretty good, since I have shown him nothing but strength until then.
In more than one occassion these small turn reraises just imply that you run into a set or possible straights....
The flop/turn is so plain and simple in my opinion Qx just calls it down till river (2p isn't possible on this flop/turn, fd isn't on the table as well) so it has to be a set or straight... So should I have folded on the turn??
Is my thinking to nitty??

Since Sb flat called preflop I would put him on range 22-TT,87s+,QJs,AQs,ATs,Ax,Kx, JJ,A4s,A5s you block some KQ and AK combos. Since he check raised the turn it is possible he has a set of 66 maybe 33 but given that he is a unknown player you can not know for sure. I would jam turn here in this spot because there is many hands you are ahead of. Bet sizing is a bit small on the flop I think. What did villan have? QJ,QT =)
Tough spot sir! I won't Jam turn cos we're only getting called by better. Tough spot and I don't see many natural bluffs that Villain could have unless he's turning pocket 9 etc into bluffs. With no reads and assuming that he would have 3bet AQ+ QQ+, I think we can narrow down his range to mostly sets, doubs and 45. Personally I'm sighcalling turn cos odds and in position, but im folding river.
I think you analysed the hand perfectly, in hindsight I thougt the same thing but couldn't get away from the hand. He showed 45s in the end
C beting on dry board vs 2 opponents pretty standard- we have prob 3 streets value even tho it's multiway so have to be careful on later streets. When SB calling on the flop with such a dry board structure when he has player behind I expect him to calling with pretty strong range. He has tough decision with 2 nd pairs like 77+ when u c beting into 2 people and he has player behind, he prob may fold them looking in how bad spot he is, so when he raise on the turn I think u just behind and i prefer fold turn looking it was multiway pot ( in multiway pots people have stronger ranges and dont't bluff too often) I think calling turn and folding river is burning money (even tho its small sizing it's still NOT min raise we need 24%). If u think player bluffing u call turn and call river, but even if hes bluffing i not expect him to stop on the river looking u will call turn and fold on the river most Qx and he has good odds to bluff.
I think flop bet was good. Would likely call turn and fold river.
Another the bright side, 45 isn't a hand you want to be playing OOP and then calling flops with 8 outs. I'd take the note and hope to keep playing hands with that vil.
You HAVE to check/call open ended on a rainbow board. He is 37% to hit the straight. The OOP player is getting 3.6:1 on a call. He only has to be right 22% of the time to profit. It's a slam dunk call. I knew it was 45s just reading the thread. It was the only hand combination that would make sense. Your play should always have a lot to do with his stats. I find that you can make a lot of explo folds against low stakes players who never check/raise as a bluff.
He should defend that hand (45s) 100+ BB's deep to a 3x raise. It plays well post flop and can stack an over pair. It also allows barreling opportunities as you pick up equity, especially against tighter players. 45s has 36% equity against the top 20% of hands and crazy implied odds in that scenario.
Probably quite big -ev call on the turn against typical these limits players, although it sounds crazy
Agreed.
bet bigger on turn, fold vs raise
