What do you think about the flop?

I'm not a fan of this play. I think its fine to cbet and semi-bluff the pot, but when the opponent raises you, considering you have the nut flush blocker and a backdoor nut straight blocker, I just dont see them doing this with anything but a Q or an A. So when you shove, you wont get any folds and you will be crushed. Its best just to fold to the raise.
i totally agree. you should fold to a re-raise.
So, no FE at all huh? You don't think weaker Ace ever raise fold on this flop?
I don't think there's a chance any ace weaker than AK will raise this flop unless they're some sort of maniac. If you raise here with AJ then you're turning it into a bluff. In fact I would say that even AK is too weak to raise for value here. Why would you want to raise a hand like AJ or AK (a hand with decent equity) and risk being bluffed off the hand, when you can call and extract the value of weaker aces or draws on later streets?
For example if you were in your opponents place and thought you could be against a draw then by raising, two things would happen:
1. The draws would fold, meaning you would miss out on a lot of value
2. The draw reraises you, meaning you occasionally make a bad fold
So a raise/fold line doesn't make any sense. If the opponent were to raise with an ace, then they would be doing it with the intention of getting all the money in on the flop.
We don't have enough info on the player. But as Eddie said it makes not much sense to value raise the flop, in his shoes it is much better to call behind with his strong holdings and leave your bluffs in. So yeah as this play doesn't make much sense from thinking opponent I think we have some FE here and when called a decent equity. But we are basically shooting in the dark as we have no real info on the villain, I would just fold this PF and wait for more hands to make plays like this.
I thought it was a feeler raise with a weak Ace because it doesn't make much sense to raise me on this flop like you guys said. He tanked for around 10 seconds before folding so I guess we'll never know what he did it with.
Who has more Qx in the range? Me or him? I only ask because there is a chance that he thought I held Qx and folded also.
I guess my statement that you have "no fold equity" doesn't have as much merit as I originally thought :P. In that case you should definitely make a note here that this sort of player is capable of raise/folding on a nutted paired 2 spade board. Most people aren't (and shouldn't!) but this player obviously is. With your hand it could potentially be profitable against this player, but I wouldn't get into a habit of doing it against everyone, only when you have a strong read on the player. I still don't believe he had an ace though. He must have been bluffing with nothing.
I think he has more Qs in his range, AQ, KQs, QJs maybe QTs sometimes.
if youre 3b'ing K6s, youre 3b'ing much too wide.
Flop is a call. Keep his bluffs in, his worse flush draws and draw vs a Q or a badly played A.
Everybody says villains line doesnt make sense, but heros is even more questionable with everything in his valuerange....
u could be already be drawing dead on the flop! Keep that in mind while doeing plays like this i prefer this play on an unpairedboard.
wow so many people assuming that villain never bluff raises this flop and because he raised vs a 3bettor he MUST have a huge hand
I found this one interesting. He is 41/30/af0.7/3bet20.0 BTN Steal 100% F3 0% 38 hands
