JTs: best bluffcatcher in a 3bet Pot? (NL 100)
CO: 100
BN: 218
SB: 100.50 (Hero)
BB: 101.50
UTG: 100
HJ folds, HJ folds, CO raises to 3, BN folds, Hero raises to 9.50, BB folds, CO calls 7
I am playing the normal tables, but just have 50 hands on Villain. He seems to be a new reg on NL100 but I obv. do not know it.
Preflop I am not shure how I should construct my 3bet range in this spot. Do you 3bet a linear range if the CO/BB are unknows? My range looks probably like this:
88+,ATs+,KJs+,QJs,JTs,AJo+,KQo (9,2%)
Villain should Cc a range like this one, do you agree? :
JJ-66,AQs-ATs,KJs+,QJs,JTs,T9s,AQo (6,3%)
The Flop defently favors Villain, given that I have a lot of OC and Villain more nuts + draws to the nuts. Before the Flop I had 56% w my range and now I have 46% ...
How do you play your range on this Flop?
Do you have a check/calling range? Why?
Do you have a check/raisning/range? Why?
I am going to put both ranges in crEV, but before it would be great to hear some thoughts from you guys...
As played I think my T is the best blocker since T9s is more likely than 98s in his range. The J on the River sucks, because he is probably checking all his Jx bluffs behind, because I can x/c w Tx both sreets. On the other hand I do not see him pushing w sets so he will have his 6 combos 99 and 2 combos T9s + some 98s combos which are not always calling preflop and betting the flop.
I need 28% Equity for a call, vs this range it is pretty much BE, what do you think? Obv a check/fold on the Turn is another option, if someone wouldn´t check/call, given my line on the flop, let me know...
