JJ raise bluff river, good or not?
Villan is a reg. Otf I think range cbet is ok on this board. Ott I think checking back is fine, maybe we should 1/3 again take value from Tx and fd and make our lives easy otr. When he blocks I dont think I can call here, dont see that many bluffs in his range with this size, he should bluff some small pairs with little sdv. I thought about raising and force him to fold some A5s,the one AJs combo left, maybe some AKo combos that he has in his calling range, some weak 2p like QTs. What do you think about my play? I made it because I have blockers to the flush and straight. What do you think about his play? If you think I only raise river with value it is a good play I think.

What is this stake? NL 50? If that's the case I don't regs block/fold too often.
I mean, in order to see a fold his range should be valuebet wide, which I don't think at NL50, players do very often. This means that you are against a good value range, often imho.
solver mostly likes to play super polar against this block sizing and uses this combo at a 10% freq, it prefers JhJs the most blocking 2 suited KJ combos that x/c flop...on double flush draw boards solver really likes to have combos that block both fds, something i've noticed from looking at fd spots in 3bp
I love the fact that you're thinking about raising here and pulled the trigger. Doing these kinds of things and reviewing it will make you a better player.
He's betting to get value from exactly the kind of hand that you have. You're almost never good if you call here. You also block the nuts with your JJ.
There are a few downsides to raising though. How often do we really have KJ when we 3bet preflop? I would fold KJo pre and flat call KJs vs UTG. We can credibly rep QQ, but that is an extremely narrow range.
It's important to know if this reg makes disciplined laydowns / is a nit. If villain has Ax, he probably has a broadway Ax given he called a 3bet preflop OOP. AT (prob raises flop) and AQ are two pair, AK and AJ have blockers to the nuts.
What stakes are you playing? I think at higher stakes (25 NL+) you may see more suited aces call preflop here which makes this play better. I'd be very cautious trying this against good regs though since we're repping very thin. Some regs just focus on their absolute hand value too much though.
I guess this line on a lower freq is fine. We will bet once with KJ and then give up ott fairly often if we dont connect with the FDs.
Villains play is btw pretty bad...is he jamming as a bluff? For value?
I think that he is bluffing, because in game he only showed the Qh when I folded.
if you gonna raise river you should just shove. Any hand good enough to raise is good enough to shove imo (that not always the case) and so your bluffs should also be shoves.
And this combo is good enought to do that?
Well it blocks some flushes so yeah seems fine.
