Hero?

Hey peeps, haven't posted a hand in a while so thought this was an interesting spot. No info on villain as I play at PP and have no notes.
I think the key takeaway here is that villains rarely triple barrell at the lower stakes, and if they do I tend to take a note straight away. The only problem is that I really don't have many other better hands that I could call here apart from 88 and possibly KQs that may have decided to call twice but that is very unlikely.

Would like to hear peoples thoughts on the spot.

Thanks

(sorry couldn't get the real HH review thing to work, anyone have a clue how to import from HH3/PP to make it work?

hi. no idea about the HM3,

about the hand. i would sometimes x/r flop. denying equity from overcards, and getting called by worse quite a lot, on a board that hits me very good and i don't expect to be played back at too often.

as played i might call because im a calling station. but when a villian shows this much strength by betting 3 healthy bets on a board that is good for us. i rarely think he would have enough bluffs for us to call profitably, and JJ blocks a lot of his bluffing hands too

Hmm maybe at higher stakes or against a thinking player I would call this based on the fact that he could value bet TT.
Since we are at nl10 against an unknown guy, it's kinda assumptive to expect TT in this line. Therefore our hand is just indifferent from other bluffcatchers so we should forget about how high up we are in our range and rather focus on blockers. Your hand blocks some KJ combos, but KJo isn't opened that much from MP at these stakes so we do block 2combos of KJs. Compared with the fact that we block his natural bluffs Jc9c,JcTc,JcQc,JcAc and myaybe even QJs so this is not the best bluffcatcher.
A6s,A8s,65s,85s are probably the best ones except of the Kx hands. Even other 8x should be okay to bluffcatch.

Btw I would almost always 3b pre this combo and OTF raise with some frequency.
