Dunno about 5NL but already at 20NL against an unknown reg even pocket tens are a profitable shove there.
His 4bet sizing seemed a bit too high though, I could see myself assume villain doesn't 4bet bluff and fold.
I played around 100k hands at NL5 and 90% of the time a 4bet is KK or AA. I am never shoving JJ there as I've lost to many pots this way.
Try 4 betting much more hands as you will get an insane amount of folds especially if you're IP. That's one of the easiest exploits at NL5. But never shove JJ.
Its your perception or solid data that you can backup with some HM2 screens?
(this is rethorical obviously, as i really doubt that even at 5NL regulars are having less than 2,0% 4bet range on average where KK+ is making only 0,9% of range).
make sure it is BvB
this guy is kind of nitty, but he is short
I think you played this fine
We're jamming... jamming... And I hope you like jamming too
Honestly I don't know about NL5 but that's a shove against 99% of players at NL25 and higher.
I play 25nl and my experience when I get it in, is that there all in pre range is really tight. Do you think people will 4ber bluff and fold to a showe?
If I showe TT JJ QQ I'm happy if my QQ is a flip. What is your experience?
Of course they have 4b bluffs and they should have about as many 4bet bluffs as value 4bets if they're decent. It's always dependent on the population but where I mostly play, people tend to 4b-bluff too much.
Shove, no question about it...
I have played a lot of hands at NL5 myself and I also think this is a fold. When you get 4-bet at 5NL it is nearly always KK and AA. Do not fall into the trap of thinking they are 4-betting wider because it's BvB.
