I thought about folding preflop because his range is supposed to be really strong and unless I flop a set I am always bluffcatching. Alternative would be to flat AA and KK here too but this comes with a cost too.
How do you approach these spots?

If you think he always have strong range and you are just playing for set mining, why not folding this river? I'm note saying it's the correct answer but you are having contraditory thinkings.
You must know how villain's range is constructed and how villain's actions impacts in the river modeled range.
Does villain has enough bluffs? Does villain only have a really strong range preflop? Does villain plays QQ+ with this line? Which combos should I 3bet and not fold to a 4bet in order to not overfold vs 4bets here?
As played, the turn has brought a more dynamicness to the board. I'd judge (I can be completely wrong here) that a micro stakes players will bet turn most of the time for what they say "protection". And you just called a small bet OTF and checked turn and river after Villain checked behind OTT, so we may conclude that we are giving villain an incentive to reopen his bluffing range (if we agree that he has bluffs here). Finally, I wouldn't be happy in this spot but I'd be inclined to call.
