J9s 3b pot two pair

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (5 Players) UTG: $16.58
CO: $11.12
BN: $12.45
SB: $10.05 (Hero)
BB: $13.80
Villain 25/22 af 2.3 cbet 86 tcbet 86 wtsd 33 75%FT3bet | 90hands
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is SB with 9 J
2 folds, BN raises to $0.25, Hero raises to $0.90, BB folds, BN calls $0.65
I 3b here, expecting a bunch of fold PF from villain.
Flop ($1.90) 4 9 J
Hero bets $1.30, BN calls $1.30
Value bet.
Turn ($4.50) 4 9 J Q
Hero checks, BN bets $2.90, Hero calls $2.90
I tank here a bunch and decide that check/calling is somehow better than betting... thinking that if we bet and he shoves we`ll be in a very bad spot.
River ($10.30) 4 9 J Q 5
Hero checks, BN bets $5.00, Hero folds
He shoves really quickly and I can't really think of many hands that we can beat... maybe KK or AA but I think he would get those in PF a good % of the time and I`m not sure he would shove AQ,KQ on such a board on river.

What do you think about F+T play?
Would you call river?

I like the turn ch/c as we can call and redraw to the boat nuts against his flushes.

OTR, I think its close, I think he can value bet AQ here, I think it can go either way. I think I call.

preflop play is fine

I'd rather reraise turn after X'ing behind.
Your flop bet seems kinda fishy, he probably won't put you on J9 and call a lot of his range down with weakish hands IMO. That's why I don't like how you played the turn. However after you call the turn you have to call the river on any blank imo.

I'd rather check back the turn like you're giving up after you flop bet like that and just shove. He'd call you with any draws on a drawheavy board. You can't really play caution to the fact he might have a st8 or flush just because of the way the hand was played. You just gotta assume he's going to bet with any JX club hand any 10X drawy hand as well which his stats does say. Consider folding though if he was a nit.

I don't know if villain would bet turn here with Jxc or 10x... by check/shoving turn I think we are just isolating our self vs the stronger hands in his range.

So I think check/call turn and check/call river is better than check/shove in such a spot.

On river I think is close between a call and a fold simply because I`m not sure he is bluff shoving very often, and hands that we are beating like AQ,KQ are most likely just checking behind on such a wet board.

I don't think people bluff that often at these stakes and you can make exploitative fold OTR.
I think turn x/c is good.
