Kinda sucks that you block the parts of his calling range that you beat. I don't think he gets to R with many worse Ax (prob only AT), as you block the Axcc. You have a J, which blocks his worse Jx.
So yea, seems a little bit thin to me, especially as he probably limps a ton of offsuit Qx (like AQ-Q9).
I think mostly these smaller pots really compound themselves when we male and lose $$$$. Imo these smaller pot spots are the biggest winners of our wr, so im trying harder to make less mistakes in these spots. However, in this certain spot i cant really fault my line, i dont think i can ever xf otr so im happy with bet folding and beting to get value from the bottom of his value range which are gonna include werse Jxx, also whales are still calling on these run outs with 2xx even lower pp imo.
Based on your assumptions, would it make sense to bet smallish (like 1/4 - 1/3pot) to induce more calls from 2x and underpairs?
"Imo these smaller pot spots are the biggest winners of our wr" - I doubt that's true when playing against whales ;)
good luck at the tables!
Villain is 58/16 so I'm ok with betting half pot and letting him figure out what to call with. underpairs, Ax, Jx, KK, 2x any of those hands could find a call depending on his mindset at the time.
