Is check-raise folding this river ok?

Blinds: $0.01/$0.02 (6 Players) BN: $2.06
SB: $2.10
BB: $4.04
UTG: $0.98
MP: $2.57 (Hero)
CO: $1.19
Preflop ($0.03) Hero is MP with A Q
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.06, CO folds, BN calls $0.06, 2 folds
Flop ($0.15) J 5 T
Hero bets $0.04, BN calls $0.04
I think most people would c/c this flop right? Do you think betting small is a good option? It keeps villain's range wide and allows me to bluff them off middle strength hands later in the hand.
Turn ($0.23) J 5 T 4
Hero bets $0.06, BN calls $0.06
Bet small again for the same reasons as above but in hindsight villain is capped so an overbet might have been better with my gutshot to the nuts and overcards. Thoughts?
River ($0.35) J 5 T 4 K
Hero checks, BN bets $0.17, Hero raises to $0.34, BN calls $0.17
I check-raised with the intention of folding to a 3 bet. Is this line standard?

I think your betsizing is not that great given you play NL2. You dont have to take fancy lines and overthink spots. Just learn how to place good sized value bets/raises.

c/c flop is fine, betting also fine. Villain should be calling with a big chunk of his range whether you bet small or not, reasons for betting small is apparent on drier textures than this but not as much with early position ranges OOP on the whole. Small turn bet not a good part of overall strategy -- really face up and doesn't build pots when you want to build pots. Small river c/r also pretty face up. There are spots where you want to triple barrel a lot and this particular run out looks good for that.

I dont think going small here is the right play as all your value hands want to go big here especially OOP in this spot. Your biggest mistake is tho that your 2 bet on the river is way to small you would never bluffing with a sizing this small and with your value hands you are missing value. He gets pot odds of 16.5% you. He only needs 16.5 % equity to call here. River huge mistake imo although i dislike betting small on flop and turn also your not using fold equity and allowing him to call with backdoors which can now fuck over your street in the river. Your value hands would go bigger AA QQ JJ 55 Aj JT KJ all woud bet for protection on the flop
