Interested to hear thoughts on this hand, how would you guys have played this in such a large/multiway pot? Spots like these do not come about to frequently. Should I have raised preflop?

Id definitely be cold 4 betting preflop. Lots of possible dead $$ in the pot already so lots of incentive to try to scoop it all immediately and our hand plays poorly multiway OOP. That being said probably difficult for calling to be -ev.
As played your going to be committed probably on the turn regardless but maybe we can improve by folding on a pairing turn? Idk hard for anything to be a mistake other then folding with a nut draw in a huge pot. Wont sweat it as pretty much guaranteed theres more important issues to be dealing with in your game.
Generally I would advocate a cold 4-bet. However, its an UTG+1 and MP 3-bet both players ranges should be very narrow, (8%, 3%) . Against these narrow of ranges, 4-betting is going to be negative EV play.
I would fold in this spot, because its likely that I am behind both mp and mp1s ranges and I have reverse implied odds when I flop top pair in the pot.
On the flop, the play is good we generally have 40%+ equity and will get a decent fraction of folds, even though we don't need any folds to make this play profitable.
Thanks, the reasons you stated are exactly why I did not want to put in a 4 bet. Folding pre flop does make sense too, had it been AK suited would you still be folding this preflop?
I'd generally call AKs if I was only going to play them once and 4-bet if I was going to play my opponents multiple times.
ah ya makes sense. didnt totally consider the 9 handedness of the hand
