SB: $67.48
BB: $50.75 (Hero)
UTG: $48.34
HJ: $63.04
CO: $44.87
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $1, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50
No reads on Villain only have like a 10 hand sample with him playing 9/9 so no relevance.
Flop: I think i could x/c or x/r i decided to x/r because i have the Jd in my hand and i can barrel off on a lot of run outs. I might prefer a x/c because i think my frequencies might be getting a little out of hand on this board.
Turn: obviously just a straight up value bet.
River: I could check. I decided to bet very small so he needs to defend with some 2 pair hands. I really don't have many bluffs in my range at all so If I bet too big he can just defend with a J or a flush which would be awful for me.
Now he jams and i think it's pretty interesting because I think the Jd blocker and the board having 8d, Qd and Ad is pretty relevant here. I block a lot of the suited diamond combos he would defending pre KJ, JT, J9, and a lot of the other combos he defends he can't have because they are on the board, 89, QT QJ, KQ, Ax. I'm really only scared of KTdd would think some % of the time checks back flop, K9dd makes sense and also something like 76dd. But really I just think my hand is too good a bluff catcher to fold when getting 2.5:1 on a call.
edit* i thought i 3bet pre so my argument for him having so few diamond combos is flawed. Gotta love it when you think you've made perfectly logical deductions only to realize you completely fucked up the premise.

He raised the button not defend according to the HH? His range includes alot more flushes than that IMO any Txdd , 97dd etc. think he will jam any flush here due to ur bet size. I would fold. I mean u are assuming he is capable of turning a made hand into a bluff here.
(i have just started playing poker again after a 4 year break so not sure how the games play yet.)
Also think a bet on the river is too thin with a 4 card straight and flush out to get value from worse. U don't even have the nut straight. Again could be wildly off here
fuck your right for some reason i thought i 3 bet and he called. whoops. I think i confused my flop x/r with a 3bet pre. I have to re think this now. KJ is raising the turn a decent % of the time so im not really scared of that (i also block some combos), Txdd i think would check back flop some % of the time but is still in his range. 97dd makes perfect sense, so do a lot of Kxdd hands. I think the fact i just flatted pre means he has a lot more flush combos, making my Jd blocker not as powerful. I think it might be a fold then. Or it could be a check on the river.
