Inspired by Nick Howards earliest Videos trying to learn to construct my own ranges
I want to apologize if this is messy and hard to read haven't done this before and trying to keep it clean and well organized..
-This was my first attempt at how i guess i would play my range "usually"
so the situation i ran was 6 max, HJ vs BB
I assumed my range to be about this
22+, A2s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, ATo+, KJo+, QJo
I ran a flop of KdJc7c in a hu spot vs the Bb
Red- Value bets
Green- Checks
Blue were my c bet bluffs
First thing i noticed was that i have so many checks on a board were i assume we have a large range advantage.
second, It seemed to me we have way too many VB vs bluffs.
another thing i noticed was that i wasn't going to have many middle or bottom pairs after i bet flop..
Also, I've been using small sizings with no real idea of why and guessing from the way i am playing my ranges in this example i should be using a more polar sizing.
SO this needs some work..
I ran this same spot through Pio but would like to start a discussion about the mistakes im making while building before we discuss the Pio results.
Thanks in Advance for anyone who reads/helps out

i don't like pure strategies... i don't see why u would want to always check KK and AQ on this board for example.
mostly just building ground work then will adjust. any tips on what is a better way?
A few notes:
You are very unbalanced in your bluffing range towards hands that have equity. That means that there are many run outs where your range is so strong that you will struggle to find bluffs and get paid on your value hands (imagine, for instance, the Tc falling on the turn). Try to add more low equity / backdoor equity bluffs to your range.
You are underbluffing (as you observe yourself). Since you can leverage your bluffs over multiple streets, you should have substantially more bluffs than value bets on the flop. Depending on how deep you are, your bluffs may have to outnumber your value bets by as much as 2:1.
You are very polarized in your strategy, for which a large sizing is very suitable, as you also argue yourself. If you do want to choose a small sizing, as you seem to want, then you should employ a more merged strategy. The reason is that if you bet sufficiently small to induce calls by gutshots and other weak hands, then you lose value by not also betting more medium-strength hands for thin value / protection.
So what kinda hands would you use liike some btn pair type hands? i guess i can run pio and see what it likes and try to expand from there.
Also thanks a lot for the feedback.
A few things on using Pio. Pio is only as good as the information that you feed it. In other words it is absolutely possible for Pio to cause leaks in your game or even worse gross misunderstandings as to what is optimal play. For example I know of a certain player who is totally lazy and sloppy with how he inputs HH data. As a result his sloppy xfer of HH info has caused him on more than one occasion to believe a certain line is correct based on Pio results however when his work was reviewed we found he incorrectly put in vital details like correct position and stacks. Im not saying that you would ever make these mistakes. It just seems like you are new to range construction and Pio just make sure that you are ABSOLUTELY thorough when you use Pio otherwise it does more harm than good.
