i have a question about a hand and i need some feedback
ok so there is a raise UTG and only the button calls so its heads up to the flop and the flop comes 7 8 J with two hearts. the original raiser checks and the button bets and the original raiser just calls. the turn comes a 2 of clubs. an irrelevant card. the original raiser utg checks again and the button bets on the turn and the original raser in utg just calls again. so the argument was about hand ranges.((((( Can you ever put the button on ace jack and would he be betting that hand for value or could ace jack not even be a part of his range because of the way the flop is?

AJ could definitly be in BTN's value range. He can get value from worse Jx, pairs + gutshot and flushdraws. The board is also very wet to give a free card. 7, 8 , 9, T, Q, K, or heart on the river becomes somewhat scary.
AJ seems far away average C/Cing range of initial raiseur, so yeah i think AJ is 100% in his 2 barreling range. The question is, is he always flatting AJ PF against UTG ? If he's doing it ,i'm sure that he just stabs and 2Barrels it.
