He is an unknown but showing a TAG stats in 15 hands.

I was trying to go for a safe value on flop and turn.

However, betting so small confused the hell out of me against his turn CR.

I was thinking I gave really good odds for 16 combos of QT to call on flop. It was hard for me to see flopped sets in his range.

What do you guys think about turn and river?

i would take your betsizings into account here...IMO 50% bet OTT is too low (board got a lot more wet) and might have induced him to spazz out with whatever, so IMO calling the XR is fine....River is obv a clear ceckback with flush and 1card straight on board

really no clue for giving HJ a range here

ya I doubt QT is ch/c as pfr. It kinda just looks like hes clicking, maybe chr with a hand like 87s or T9s? I don't think you can bet the river for value though, and expect to be good at SD very often.

Im not buying that he has QT, I Think more than likely he is reading you as weak and is trying something or picked up some outs and is semi bluffing. Im 3 betting the turn for sure.

As played, id check back the river cuz everything hit, id expect him to value bet better, but he really shouldnt be calling anything because everything hit. I mean I guess maybe he calls KQ or AQ to a small bet, but hes already raised our weakness once, I doubt hed do it again here, but id rather just play it safe (im a wuss) and plus I want to see his hand.

I will check the river. His range is really strong on the turn, any combo draw ,flush draw is competed on the river.

One of the reasons I bet small is because my hand blocks JT so I didn't see much more value to be had even in terms of inducing a semi bluff CR.

I came so very close to 3bet/shoving on turn, thought about it for 20 seconds, but decided against it thinking his range is bluff heavy or the nuts.

He actually had 99 and I failed to see those 3 combos in him on turn but may be it's not THAT confusing if you think about his range for a CC and CR in depth. We should add semi bluffs and SR sets into his turn CR range also.

I don't feel that bad though because he did have me killed on flop so lucky that I won the hand.

in my experience in these spots where people take the raise turn as a semi bluff line as the PFR who either checked back flop (this is where I see it mostly) or c/c the flop, they very rarely bluff the river. They also tend to incorrectly call with their draw quite often. Which is why id just go for value, plus you get them when they were slowplaying something like this.

lot of cards kill action on this river, jam turn.  bet turn bigger.  Once he checks river i want to bet small but its prob too light.... but i want to haha
