You gotta be more precise, which limit, what site, how many talbes (zoom?) how is your winrate on average? What is your goal to achieve?

I play 6max exlusivly , so cannot tell for HU.

I would say the more hands the better, under the condition that you keep up a good mental state at any point without going into auto-mode. We cannot always play perfectly but as long as you maintain your b/b+ game, you can/should play.
