HU 3bet pot KK turn action vs maniac

Villain is kind of maniac. He plays 100% in sb, 97% in bb, 3bet 27% and didnt fold to 3 and 4 bet so far.
On the flop he folded so far 20% to cbet in 3 bet pots.

Flop is pretty std i think, I will be happy to get the money in there. Turn is ugly card though, I am curious what is the best line to take from here...

Against this guy I´d probably x/r the flop and jam any turn.

As played - you only gave information on his wide ranges, not how he plays those. Any reads on his aggression? Is he the guy to bluff a lot - and slowplay strong hands? Or is he super-wide preflop but passive in general postflop?

By the way - why no hand converter? It´s a bit uncomfortable to read and interpret raw hand histories.

I played about 150 hands with him only, so don't have to much information. He seemed to play pretty straight forward, didnt make crazy moves. He didnt like to give up so much though, his went to showdown in 150 hands was 37. On river his agression was 4.5, and he did bet out 100% of times so far after missed cb.
Back then I didnt expect him to slowplay big hands, and did expect him to bluff especially on the river.

Yes, sorry, it didnt show my preflop action somehow, so hope it will work next time.

As a default vs this sort of player its gotta be reasonable to bet/fold turn and jam river blanks right? J9,Q9,87, any pair with a diamond etc. Theres even some Tx hands. Ive def been hero called by crazy players with 9 in these sorts of spots before. It just gets tricky on bad rivers which unfortunately is quite a few. Probably just have to c/f and hope that your remember to mix up range appropriately/he doesnt turn enough made hands into bluffs.

How many hands have you played so far? If it is any reasonable amount I most likely wont fold here unless the river is another diamond. With those stats he has to be on air / 1pair hands so much and you have those crushed.

Yes this turn card sucks, but it sucks for a good part of his range (1pair on the flop; overcards; air) as well. Yes some straight/flush combos got there and hands like T8, T9. You could consider checking the turn and playing poker from there. Meaning that we call turn and reevaluate river. We have a good amount of money behind and by taking this line balance our turn checking range.

In this hand we played like 100 hands. His range is so wide here, because he doesnt fold to 3bets, and doesnt fold to cbets in 3 bet pots. On the other side, this cards hits even his wide calling range pretty hard i think. So not sure what to do best here with my KK

Why are you not sure when you got so many valuable advice?! This cards don´t hit his wide range, they just look dangerous. So, you´re still way ahead of his range. The only question is wether to bet/call, bet/fold, x/shove or x/call. But as you didn´t give any further information we can just guess that b/f is the correct play.

"This cards don´t hit his wide range, they just look dangerous. So, you´re still way ahead of his range."

This is really important to understand esp when playing loose crazy guys HU who didnt sit to fold. Otherwise you risk missing all sorts of value in spots and they run you over because its easy to see monsters under the bed as they can have all sorts of holdings.

3b bigger pre, and just bet the turn. Assuming villain is somewhat of a fish I prefer betting the turn, and given you say he has played straight forward, he has a ton of hands he will call on the turn that you beat. Pretty safe b/f on the turn as well.
