SB who seems to be a Reg makes it $125(25bb) playing 190bb eff. I've only played a couple sessions with him but this is probably the 4-5th time he has 3b me in about a 6 hour window between the two sessions, so good chance he has a range, just not sure how wide. I've also folded every time, so he might be emboldened to go wider against me.

Curious what the outline of your strategy will look like here. I have an idea, but am basing it off MDF. Because he is risking so much to win such a small pot, MDF wise we can defend very little. But if we look deeper into equity I am sure we can probably be defending a bit more than MDF suggests. I'm just not sure how to evaluate this. I'm guessing our depth plays a factor as well, as we likely get to see rivers more often as well, given it's a little tougher for him to just jam turns all the time with the extra money behind. Still don't think we can go too crazy though until we see some showdowns/have a better idea what is going on. It's pretty rare to see light 3bets in live cash games, so there is a risk he has just picked up hands against me. But def becoming aware that he might be getting a bit out of line.
