How wide do you isolate?
So something I am wondering as I transition to live is just how wide I should be isolating. Online, I think you have to be more selective and careful about not going to crazy because you will face frequent 3-bets and on average tighter ranges, and people will try and take pots away from you at higher frequencies as well.. In live, this is less the case, especially at lower stakes. this is a 1-3 game
first limper has $220 is a asian guy who is super cally and GII very light. (he raised KTs to $15 and jammed $120 over my $65 3b squeeze)
2nd limper is a loose passive fish w $120 that plays regularly, he is probably on a range more like 30-35% of hands, maybe wider but im not certain)
Hero is on Bttn w A7ss
blinds arent short or anything. I will say my raise size in this scenario is 7x. My standard at this game is 5x from all positions and 4x from bttn, unless i am isolating, in which case I 5x+BB per limp.
Would you be isolating with a raise w 2 limpers ahead here A7s? what would the bottom of your range look like? i think the bottom of my range would be KTo, T9s, 77+, A8/A7s+(maybe I can be isolating all Axs tho?)
