I figured this would be the best place to post this as it's about small values.
So, at least in pt/es, you get a ton of bonuses on 888 even if you're a wining player (every time I make a withdrawal I get a e-mail with a bonus offer, haven't gone one from stars in years) but there's a big catch. The bonus only play after you have no real money on the account and the rake you pay with real money doesn't count to unlock them. It's basically scamming anyone that doesn't pay attention. I'd be ok with bonus playing after real money if real money rake counted to unlock the bonus, but this way you're only getting your bonus if you lose all your money.

The way to go around this is simple and I haven't found anything in the TOS that forbids it. You open a private table on "play with friends" ,just sit there with all the real money and proceed to play with the bonus money on the regular tables. I believe there's a risk of getting banned from promotions if they notice, but not from playing. I only read the terms for the .pt domain, so if you want to do this please read the terms for where you play as they might be different and you might be violating the TOS.
