I have recently become more active in these forums and I see one thing that worries me quite a lot.
There are tons of players playing 2nl-10nl that posts hands and they have no reads whatsoever, and I am not meaning to be disrespectful or offend anyone but if you are trying to learn to play poker and move up the stakes you need to start paying attention to what is going on at the tables.
Ok so if you are playing zoom in a big pool of players and you have not seen a single hand from your opponent you need to do one of two things:
1. When you playing hands and when you post hands, try to formulate a profile of how you view the average player plays in your pool, or;
2. For the love of god, stop playing zoom.

Nowadays poker is played with hudstats and numbers and while that is a part of poker it is not all that is to it. A big part is actually learning how other people are thinking and how they will react to different situations, and as far as I understand, we are still humans klicking buttons right? And even if the other regs are just playing by the stats there (hopefully) is a ton of recs at these stakes that actually are playing in a more human way.. And guess what, those regs that are following the stats are supereasy to manipulate if you just break out of autopiloting and start to pay attention to what is going on :)

Maybe I am getting old but I can not imagine a situation where I was trying to learn poker and chose to do it on zoom tables at micros. being able to fire up 4-5 regular tables and just adjust to regs that are mostly pretty bad and learning to spot tendencies and betting patterns from recs must be so so much more profitable than playing in a huge zoom pool where you probably have the same % of bad players at an average table as you would in a regular one, just without the huge edge of history. I think I would waste at least 30% of my winrate shorterm and much more than that longterm on zoom tables.
