How to approach being flatted IP as PFR against good competition
So, pretty general question here, but something that is becoming more relevant as I start to play 200nl, and 100nl...
Hero raises UTG/HJ and get flatted from the CO/Bttn. how should we be approaching various textures?
say 662 w a FD, and J62 to start with
On both of these textures, I find myself either betting 1/3 alot and splitting my range into a polar strat on the turn or checking with the intention of C/C, C/F and C/Ring various parts. Problem is, I dont quite have a solid grasp on when and why to choose my different options vs a solid player.
When betting 1/3, i find myself checking alot of my Ax hands like AQ/AK, which if i am betting small on flop, then i am probably using a very wide range, and when checking my range is pretty faceup as Ax or a weakish type hand, and occassionally some stronger stuff that doesnt get overcarded (AA). but say on the 662 flop, when villain wont have much 6x in range, I want AA in my betting range to be able to balance all of the bluffs I can be blasting off with... any insight would be much appreciated.
