It really just comes down to your skills and willingness to take variance. I would recommend playing deep if there are fishes that are deep aswell, otherwise it's optional I suppose.

If we have the luxury of finding other tables, isn't ratholing just a factor of being IP to other deep stacks? Say we're 200bb and, and a reg to our left IP is also that deep, but the rest of the table is shorter without giant fish. Shouldn't we just up and leave, as opposed to a fish on our right and I being 1000bb deep, where I wouldn't get up under any other table conditions.

It would end up being a function of your total bankroll and your bankroll management ideology.

If you are doing brm and are moving up/down every 20bi, then having 10bi on the table is probably not the best idea.

Never sitting out, i want others to see my stuck and say wow Masti is the best reg Masti is crushing and then take print screens of 2000bb stack and post it on forums to show how great i am.

As I'm starting to win more online, I find myself 200+bb's deep often so I was naturally wondering what the "standard" is for winning players and what your rhyme and/or reason is for when you get up. I typically find myself getting up to around 250 bb's max as there typically aren't other players that deep and if there is, he's typically the guy who's more than happy to get his 200+ bb's in lol.
