How does IP player defend against this line?

BN: $50.75
SB: $53.13 (Hero)
BB: $66.07
UTG: $50
HJ: $69.01
CO: $76.47
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt K J
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BB calls $1
BB is unknown.
Flop ($3.25) J A Q (2 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1.50
I have a substantial x/c and x/r range on this board, KJo definitely goes in x/c along with some KT, AT, etc.
Turn ($6.25) J A Q T (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.75, BB raises to $9.50, Hero calls $4.75
Turn is a far stronger card for my range than his imo so I decided to lead most of my hands here. His raise seemed very bad to me because I did not think he would ever make this raise without a K when I so clearly have a K an absolutely massive % of the time here. I think I am meant to call this raise with some Kings hoping to bluff off a chop on the river and that I never have to 3bet this raise unless my opponent is making it with something other than a K sometimes which seems very unlikely.
River ($25.25) J A Q T T (2 Players)
Hero bets $40.63, and is all in, BB folds
Standard? I can have hands which were bluffing turn which are actually betting for value here I'm pretty sure. So was the problem here that his turn raise was really bad?
Final Pot
Hero wins $23.88
