How do you identify the biggest issues in your game?
So this is what I'm struggling with right now. I can't really figure out exactly what I'm doing wrong. I just slowly bleed money at tables. I don't lose it all in one go, or to a bunch of all-ins, my BI just slowly goes down until I need to rebuy. I usually never bust either, I just keep bleeding until I start feeling tilted and stop playing. I try applying what I see in videos on RIO and what I've read (Easy game, Crushing the Microstakes, and some of harrington on online poker) and its always "You need to value bet, big". The is my value bets very rarely get called, and this is on bovada zone poker where everything is anonymous. I don't think I'm a donkey, but I just think I have a really big leak and it's very hard to see what I'm doing wrong.
With the help of a forum user on here I reworked my entire opening range to something that i'm pretty comfortable playing and that I think is solid for 2/5nl. I've also been working on controlling tilt, and honestly it takes me 800-1k hands of a shit session to start tilting now, which is a huge improvement. I guess the overall question would be how do you find what you need to improve on?
