How do I break the cycle of ruining my bankroll?
I manage to play okay, build up a good roll, then the invetiable downwing comes - but I can't stop it - this has happened time and time through my poker career - I clearly have tilt issues, but have no idea what to do about it, or how to counter it?
Are there any videos recommended or advice of how to break the cycle? I'm so frustrated that I've had to withdraw my bankroll as I genuinely believe if I play that it will all go sooner rather than later.
As you can tell from my graph 25NL - I should not drop 14BI in 1500 hands!
So yeah - any advice, articles, videos, general tips would be greatfully recieved.

Dropping X amount of buy ins over a small sample will happen from time to time. You have to learn to accept variance and deal with it in a way that it doesnt affect your play. One thing is to lose 5 buy ins in 2 or 3k hands because of variance, another thing is to lose 5 because of variance and 5 more because of tilt.
Regarding tilt issues, you can read The Mental Game of Poker. It will help you with that
One thing that worked for me is block results, especially in session. Anyway now I'm looking at results on on weekly basis. Obv I'm really curious from time to time, but I made a script that prevents me to check.
Maybe a stoploss could work. For example, if you lose 3 buy-in close the session, do other stuffs non poker related and then come back.

Really interested in the script re results, I find my self in the same situation, constantly checking active session....
What software are you using? PT4 or HM? (and on what site?).
Right now I'm using a very complicated one, which prevents me to see the results in various timeframes and do other things, but I think for your purposes a simpler script should work perfect. Just tell me what you are using and on what site
Not checking results is very +EV, so +1 to that
Checking active session is constant torture and the WORST thing you can do. Just don't.
Sometimes, the willpower is just meh and you have to use other tricks until your mind become stronger

If u can afford it find a psychologist that knows about poker and wont treat it like gambling (a little interview before making the first appointment should be enough for u to see if he/she will treat it like a potential job and not a gambling problem), that really helped me, since u need to know exactly why u act like that so u can start solving the problem, and a professional will really speed up the process than reading some books until u find what will really work on you

wow, 14bi in 1,5kh. Sounds incredible. Tbh I never lost this amount of buyins in so short time.
STOP LOSS stuff should work if you cannot manage with your tilt, which obviously causes your huge loses. That's a short term prevention
In long term you should just work on your mindset and read some books or other stuff.
