Should I just shove river instead of checking if I'm going to call anyways or did I mess up somewhere?

I like the check on the river to let villain bluff shove his missed flush draws, If you had the A of spades you can check the flop since villain's range is capped on pairs like 77-99, and some suited broadways, and u can get him to "value" 88-99, and semi-bluff suited spades broadways
check flop is terrible imho. it doesn't make any sense. you're playing OOP vs an unknown player w/ a fragile range. if you x/c flop, the probability of villain goes x/x OTT is extremely high, since there are lots of cards that will probably kill the action OTT.
also, you can get value from his draws. he is a 10nl player. we're gonna make more money betting and raising than checking and calling at low stakes.
cheers.
Given that spades missed, you don't have a spade, and the 4 straight makes it tougher for you to get paid by worse I like the check call on the river.
