When we have a decision to make we don't make a decision only based on the hand we currently have. But also on the hands we could have in this situation. Such a group of hands is called a range. AdAc is a hand. [JJ, QQ, KK, AA, AK, AQs, AJs, TJs] is a range.
Then there are spots where a person would bet every possible hand he could have. He is betting there 100% off the time. Because of this it's called a "range cbet". All terms you listed is exactly that.
ok thanks for the reply, this means like in certain river spots when they "jam range" they would be doing it with any 2 cards right? but by the river it would be narrowed out to mostly missed draws or nutted hands.
Yes, something like that.
I tried looking for a decent video on it but can't immediatly find one. When I do I'll let you know.
I browsed a bit after using the search function.
A previous topic talking about range cbetting got referred to https://www.runitonce.com/poker-training/videos/pio-solver-flop-strategy-as-preflop-rai/
Range is just a another word for a dynamic distribution of hands that changes based on the action that has occurred so far.
Im not sure if you got it right. Betting range doesnt really equal "jamming any 2 cards". It means that someone is jamming any cards that he arrived with in a specific situation:
For example: 4betting AK/KK/AA and bet/bet/jam on AK279
So here we are betting/jamming our whole range (which is far away from "any 2 cards")
