Good 3-bet/limp raise range for 9-10 handed live games.
Yeah I have been brewing a little on this. As most off you internet-regs(and live :P) know live game differs from online when it comes to ranges. You dont play much against the same people and its much more multiway with very ''creative'' hands to say the least.
My standard live game consist off 10 players where its usually 3-5 regs at the table. A couple off fishes and 1-3 unknows.
I am quite nitty but I have realized that 3-bet is quite strong weapon in live since people dont adjust(or cant) to it very well. My image is very TAG-SOLID and its harder for me to get value from certain players(even some fishes are a little observant) so my weapon off choice is to make people fold more often. So what does a good 3-bet/limp range consist off with those factors included?
Sure 99+ and AT+ seems like a good start. Although in some spots where there is a maniac at the table I usually go for AQ+/JJ+ since other people might limp to trap or it can get very weird in a 3-bet pot with 99 vs 3/4 other people. Off course this is also player and positional dependant. But lets say you start to 3-bet suited connectors aswell. They seem to loose quite off value with 45s if u go with it 4-5 way in my opinion. I am talking when you just limp/call a raise with them. Yeah sometimes you raise and get 4-5 callers. Flopping 2 pair and trips is less fun they people play J5s quite freiquintly.
Has anybody here experimented with this or its mostly TABLE dependant. I would like to be a little harder to play against for the observant regulars because some night its more off them at my tablet then donkeys. Should I 3-bet hands like 23s+ and perhaps A2-A9s.
Any good lines of WHAT not to 3-bet. I recently had a thread where I 3-bet with 85o on the btn and people though it was a wrong play.
