Getting value from the forums
I see a lot of people posting hands and just asking what other people would do and leaving out the most important part; THE ASSUMPTIONS. This goes for everyone trying to get better - If you really want to learn then you need to make range assumptions and post those assumptions along with the sizing assumptions you think are correct. Without this information, someone else may have a totally different assumption of opponents ranges and give you advice that is incorrect for the range assumptions you are using. 2 of the main subjects within poker that are the most important are range-interaction and bet sizing, but yet we fail to leave this out of our posts constantly. To understand poker better, we need to be on the same page.. And I am not saying I am perfect, I am guilty of it too!
Here is an example, watch the video and view the comments: http://www.runitonce.com/poker-training/videos/piosolver-hand-history-review/
Hope everyone sees the importance of this post. Without posting the assumptions along side the HH, you may or may not be getting help. You may just be hindering the learning process.
