Wanted your thoughts on a check here? Villain is a reg and playing 27/18/8 (I am the new to the games)
In short at time I was thinking, I'm probably not going to be able to get 3 streets here and I wouldn't mind protecting my checking range on this type of flop. I'm worried that if i CB and turn comes anything above a 9 or a club i'm going to have to go in to C/C mode at best and worried villain could turn decent chunk of bottom of his range in to bluffs.
Also checking here allows villain to take the lead and bluff / semi bluff v well.
