General rules for check/raising

One spot that I tend to have issues with is finding the right spots to check/raise. Since poker is so dynamic, there is a lot different spots. If you have general rules you go by to decide if you are going to check/raise or not, I would love to hear it.

cheers

I remember I once started a series about check-raise pair flops but I don't remember where to find it. Is there a way to just see what we already watch ?

Hey kingkong,
yeah that's correct you cannot find all videos you've watched in the past. This might sometimes be useful but right now it's not possible. If you want to find videos you've watched you have to somehow have kept them in your playlist (which is what I always do when I haven't finished a video to find it quicker later).

But I believe you could mean the series of Daniel Dvoress. It has just been added to the learning paths -> MTT -> Postflop

You can also find another check-raise video of Tyler, I don't know if you have checked it out yet.

Generally check raising is a good option vs someone who has a high Cb stat. We want to CR all boards that are dry and are not likely to hit villains range paired boards and boards that give you strong draws are good textures to CR. On the other hand versus someone who has a high flop CV and high turn Cb we would b better off letting villain continue betting and save CR for later street.
